A Joyful First Group Experience

Little Movers and Me™ is a playful movement experience designed for toddlers and their caregivers to move, play, explore, and connect.

Through music, creative movement, rhythm, dance, and imaginative play, children begin discovering the joy of moving with others while building confidence, social skill, meaning and comfort in a group environment.

More Than a Dance Class

At this age, children learn through movement, imitation, exploration, repetition, and play.

Little Movers and Me™ provides opportunities for your child to:

• Explore movement and music in a welcoming environment

• Discover rhythm through music, percussion, and playful activities

• Practice participating in a group

• Begin learning to share space and take turns

• Watch, imitate, and interact with other children

• Develop coordination, balance, body awareness, and listening skills

• Express themselves through movement and imagination

• Build confidence while trying new experiences

• Develop positive early experiences with learning and community

 

Caregivers Are Part of the Experience

You and your little mover experience the class together.

Caregivers participate alongside their children, helping them feel secure while modeling movement, listening, participation, and connection.

It's also a wonderful opportunity for caregivers to meet other families and share a joyful experience with their children.

 

What Happens in Class?

Each class follows a familiar rhythm while leaving room for exploration and discovery.

Hello & Connect
We begin with welcoming songs and activities that help children become comfortable with the group.

Move & Explore
Children discover different ways to move through songs, creative movement, and age-appropriate dance activities.

​

Music & Rhythm
Children experience beats, rhythms, percussion, and music from a variety of cultural traditions.

​

Play & Discover
Movement props, imaginative play, and simple games encourage curiosity and creativity.

​

Connect & Grow
Children practice participating together, following simple routines, taking turns, and sharing space.

​

Goodbye Ritual
We close with a familiar routine that helps children know what to expect and look forward to their next class.
